American Boat and Yacht Council ("ABYC")
ABYC – American Boat & Yacht
Council – is a not-for-profit membership organization that has been
developing and updating the safety standards for boat building and
repair for nearly 50 years. ABYC is actively involved with the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and is a leader
in education for the marine industry, as well as certification
programs for marine technicians.
Kevin McGoldrick has passed
the qualifying exam conducted by the ABYC for Standards Accreditation.
This distinction demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of ABYC
standards and their application on small craft.

Society of Boat & Yacht Designers
The Society
of Boat and Yacht Designers is an organization of designers,
engineers, boat builders, surveyors, and others interested in the
design and construction of small craft -- sail and power yachts, as
well as small commercial vessels. The goal of the Society is to
provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information relative
to the small craft marine industry, through meetings, tours,
seminars, and publications.
